Elofic Industries Ltd. focuses on its range of filters for off-highway and CE filter segment.
Elofic Industries Ltd. which has been catering to the automotive industry since it was established in 1951, entered the off-highway and CE filter segment around three years ago, having developed a range of filters for this industry. Looking at the huge potential for its filters, it plans to focus even more aggressively on its filters business in the coming years.
Mr. Pawan Sharma, VP - Domestic Business, says, "Quality, market penetration, availability, and right price are what differentiate us from other brands. We will leverage our experience in the automotive segment to meet the challenges in the CE industry. Our filters have been getting a good response from the CE trade because of their superior quality and high performance."

The company has set up a network of around 100 distributors across the country and is aiming to double the number in the coming years in order to achieve a turnover of Rs.25 crore by 2020. "We are also in discussions with a number of OEMs to increase our presence in the segment. Filters are used in many industries, so eventually, we have plans to diversify into other filter industry segments as well," says Mr. Sharma. Expressing satisfaction at the Expo, he says, "bC India has been a good experience as we saw quality footfall. More oppurtunities to connect with the industry, and good leads from distributors, institutional and OEMs who visited the expo made bauma Conexpo a great success."
As a renowned automotive filter manufacturing company with a strong automotive network of 1000 distributors and 30,000 retailers spread throughout the country, Elofic is catering to major OEMs such as Tata, Mahindra, Maruti, New Holland, Royal Enfield, etc. It has many reputed OEM customers in the international market too, and is recognized as an Export House by the Government of India. It has five modern filter manufacturing facilities: three at Faridabad in Haryana, one at Hosur in Tamil Nadu, and one at Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh. Its government recognized R&D centre at Faridabad is equipped with the latest testing and calibration facilities.
Elofic obtained the ISO: 9002 certification in 1995, and was among the first 10 companies in India to be awarded the QS:9000, and subsequently, was the first filter company to be awarded the TS 16949:2009 certificate in 2004. It also holds the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications.
