COBO Group launches “ECO HE” Instrument Cluster
COBO is well aware of the Indian dynamics and price sensitivity, so they launched “ECO HE” in line with their strategy: stand out by identifying customer “pain points” and overcoming them with innovative solutions perceivable by the final user.
COBO’s comprehensive product portfolio includes many different and technologically cutting edge products such as LED lighting, “contactless” switches based on hall-effect technology, fully programmable optical-bonded TFT displays and instrument clusters with 3D GPU, safety electronic control units and sensors, multi-functional armrests and seating systems, short and long distance connectivity devices and power electronics as well as complete automation solutions for mobile machinery.
“Our slogan is ‘The Future in Tradition’ which indicates that we keep evolving by adding new added value features to our products and solutions,” says Stefano Scapin, Chief Business Development Officer APAC. “We work with OEMs at the very early stage of new project developments in order to provide tailor made solutions for their needs. We have software application engineers all across the Globe working with Client’s R&D Team throughout the project from the technical specification definition to the installation and calibration. We are expert of vehicle automation according to the most stringent safety standards as well as graphical user interface development which is now projected on sophisticated TFT displays up to 12.1” size.”
Expressing optimism of doing business in India, Mr. Scapin says, “India is a steadily growing market. We started our journey in India about ten years ago without any local staff and with only limited carry-over business. Then we have successfully defined a business vision and built a close-knit team in order to provide best-in-class customer experience. Today India is one of the fastest growing and strategic markets in the world for the Group with plenty of opportunities for further growth”
“This is our 4th participation as exhibitors at EXCON. Our 1st edition as exhibitors was back in 2015. Every edition we have a bigger exhibiting space in order to give more visibility to COBO brand and display the complete product portfolio”
He adds, “The CE market of India was a little down in the last financial year at about 8%. As per ICEMA report, in FY 20 -21 about 92,000 Construction Equipment were sold. However the volume is expected to triple before 2030. The engine emission norms have changed in 2021 from BS III to BS IV, and soon it will be BS V. The government is investing a lot in the construction sector, so there is optimism for the coming years. Demand for enhanced safety and electronification will grow and so we are well positioned to support this market whilst expanding our local presence”.
“We have seen the country evolving over the last 10 years or so, and today we see a strong base for world-class manufacturing in India. A few years ago, the slogan was Make in India for India, now it is already Make in India for the World. We look forward to this development of India as a manufacturing hub and for exports to world markets, including USA and Europe”
