“Safety is the key plank along with productivity and operating efficiency on which all construction and material handling equipment from the Escorts are based on. ECE is looking at creating platform for cranes and suitable product variants within that for different tonnage segments. Recognising the concerns of our customers around stability, safety, limitation in lifting capacities, reach, versatility and accessorization in the crane segment in general, we at Escorts intend to create a platform of cranes that will solve these issues and are not incremental to design changes,” says Sanjeev Bajaj, CE - Escorts Construction Equipment.
“The ongoing push for infrastructure projects is expected to continue to increase the demand for stable, safer, advanced tech equipment and more productive solutions in construction and material handling equipment industry space and we at Escorts are already headed in that direction to aptly equip ourselves to cater to the demands of our customers. We are already into backhoe loaders, compactors and cranes segments and are now expanding our range by adding motor grader to complement our compactor segment.
