Puzzolana displays Diesel Electric Crawler units and Sand Washing Systems

In view of development of super highways and dedicated rail corridors in the north and north east regions, Puzzolana is geared up to meet increasing demand with its newly launched Diesel Electric Crawler units and Sand Washing System.

At bauma Conexpo India, Puzzolana displayed its crawler units with its proven, versatile crushers mounted on them. The crawler units have the following advantages:

• All the drives are standard electric motors in place of hydraulic drives
• Onboard generator makes the diesel/electric crawler operation-friendly and easy to maintain at remote site locations
• In case of availability of power there is a change-over switch
• Crawlers are designed to take bigger feed and higher capacities
• They can be commissioned immediately on reaching site and full production can be achieved in an hour’s time so there is a shorter gestation period
• They can reach remote sites where there is no proper road access as in J&K and north eastern states
• The mobiles are fitted with Caterpillar /Volvo engines both of which are internationally reputed brands with extensive service networks. Radio remote control makes it easy for operators to manoeuvre the machines into position.

The company also displayed its 100 tph Hydro Cyclone for wet classification of sand and removal of clay and other deleterious materials in the river bed sand. Some of the unique features of Puzzolana Hydro Cyclone Classifiers are:

• Feed only (-)2.36 mm sand to Cyclone for better life (less wear) and accurate cut off.
• Increase the capacity of Hydro Cyclone
• Two products, namely Concrete sand & Plaster sand.
