Historic Remote Commissioning of Marini Plant

Ramky's Marini plants at their Narkatpalli - Addenki APRDC project was commissioned using Marini Remote Assistance, from the Ramky Headquarters 170 kms away in Hyderabad. This historic event marked the beginning of professional Indian road contractors putting into use the latest process technology and automation in India supplied by Marini. When Ramky Infrastructure launched themselves in to large road construction projects, they really meant business. The sustainable development focused company reflected its commitment by installing the greenest asphalt plant in North India. Over these months, the record savings in carbon emission achieved by the exceptional fuel consumption has not only benefitted the environment, but also the green mix produced by the Marini plant is paving highways to profits.

To replicate the success story, Ramky selected Marini MAC series plants for their 212 kms long, Narkatpalli to Addenki APRDC road project near Hyderabad. On July 28, the quickly erected plant at the first project site was launched in to production, bang on creating yet another history in the road construction industry.

There was a difference however this time at the launch. 170 kms away, at the Ramky Headquarters in Hyderabad, the Marini management team was at the helm of controls. The countdown had began at the project site, the loader operator had finished feeding the bins and the siren rang, indicating commencement of the production cycle and beginning of a historical moment in Indian road building. Mr Virender Kaul – Head of Roads at Ramky, clicked the controls from the CEO's office in Hyderabad and the first batch of high quality asphalt mix was dropped at the site 170 kms away. Mr. V Reddy – Head of Business Development clicked the next batch from the comfort of the office, as Mr. S Mohanty CEO Ramky infrastructure applauded and congratulated the team at the Headquarters and at the site.

While various suppliers use analog meters with numerous buttons and indicators, which needs to be taken care of during production cycle. Marini controls have everything available right on the screen. This feature is very important when using remote assistance, our support engineers or even clients can guide their production team and observe every important data right on their screens, even thousands of miles apart. Power flow, energy data's, temperatures, settings, calibrations and process status etc. can be easily monitored. Plant operators admire greatly the self-diagnostic mode on the plant, which identifies and troubleshoots conflicts, reducing downtime drastically.
