With its objective to become the one-stop solution provider, GMMCO has augmented its caterpillar product range with addition of products to its portfolio like Engines from Perkins Engines, Mining Trucks from Daimler India, Specialized machines from M/s. Kress Corporation for steel plant, crushing plants for road making from Terex ,to name a few.

Component Repair Centre at Hingna, Nagpur and Machine Rebuild centre at Butibori in Nagpur, are one of the very few Best-in class facilities in the Asia-Pacific region, both of which are accredited with the 5-star contamination control certification by Caterpillar. Extended Life Program (ELP) is a unique offering from GMMCO, where in machines are rebuild and given a second life after the initial useful life thereby, saving significant Capex as well protecting the environment. Besides these, it has state-of-the-art learning centre at its Chennai facility that ensures world-class training with the latest tools in the business.

Moving towards Solution selling:
"From selling products and support, GMMCO has started making significant progress towards Solution Selling." For many of its mining equipment, the company extends total maintenance and repair contracts, which provides fixed hourly operating cost, guaranteed machine availability and productivity and also guaranteed parts cost for stipulated number of years. For underground mining machines, it offers production linked payment contracts. In the case of Electric Power, it extends comprehensive operation and maintenance contracts. Micro grid power solutions with Solar energy is another new market segment, the company is foraying into as renewable energy segment market is poised for a major growth including cost-effective power solutions to rural and remote locations.

Going Digital:
Fully realising impact of digital transformation of business, GMMCO has been making considerable capability building in E-Business as well as Technology Enabled Solutions for its Caterpillar business. Skilling India
As part of building the India of future, GMMCO is focussed on skilling youths in operation and maintenance of construction, and mining equipment. Its operator's training school in Raipur jointly with Chhattisgarh Nirman Academy and maintenance training at CII Skill Development Centre, Chhindwara are aimed at helping young generation in rural and semi-urban areas to develop skills for employment and guidance and support for entrepreneurial initiatives.
