Silicone technology major Dow Corning added yet another feather in its cap by the launching of the Quality Bond™ program during the recently held ZAK Glass Technology Expo 2011 in Mumbai. Meant for the rapidly growing Indian structural glazing and insulating glass market, Quality Bond™ from Dow Corning is aimed at providing in-house and on-site training to fabricators and insulating glass processors, thus setting standards for the structural glazing industry in India, and addressing concerns about safety and durability in high-rise projects.
Mr. Arturo Cuellar, the company's Global Market Leader for Construction, remarked, "Our Indian customers demand creative and world-class design solutions that help fulfill their requirements for energy efficiency and long-term sustainability. The Quality Bond™ program will further enable the Indian market to benefit from enhanced performance, safety and durability in Buildings."
