FAIRMATE has developed a number of waterproofing products to withstand leakages from structures. FAIRMATE waterproofing products are cementitious, acrylic polymer base, bitumen base, silicone base, epoxy base and polyurethane base, says Mr. Bhavesh Shah, Joint Managing Director, Fairmate.

Waterproofing System by any of the said bases can be done by coating on a clean, sound and dry concrete surface. In addition to arrest severe leakages or ensuring Waterproofing job, FAIRMATE is also doing tremendous work on various membrane works. FAIRMATE make membranes are called Waterguard Membranes. These membranes are bitumen based, EPDM base and PVC Base. Mostly, bitumen base polymer reinforced or glass reinforced membranes are used.

Waterguard A & Waterguard Super: These are the most common products demanded in residential buildings. Its application in combination with fibre cloth makes the performance more effective, develops a durable and tough film on a exposed area. This creates an impervious layer for rainwater.

Waterguard Liquid Membrane: A unique product developed by FAIRMATE which is in liquid form, single component having elastomeric nature which performs excellently where temperature variations are expected. Apart from high elasticity, it has got characteristics against salt and vapour attack. This is one of the best products for waterproofing where water carries high salinity and location is exposed to sea. Apart from terrace and other water logging areas, its application is worthful on bridge abutments and piers.

Waterguard Membrane: Any Waterproofing coating has film thickness up to 1000 to 1200 microns. A small mistake can lead to leakage at any time. Therefore, to ensure complete leakage free structure, Membrane is the ultimate solution of this system. FAIRMATE make Waterguard Membranes are generally for bitumen base having reinforcement with glass fibre or with propylene fibers. Its application on a sound, clean and well primed surface is done by torch on method. 3 mm to 4 mm thickness of membrane is having size of 10m X 1 m. Subsequent rolls are joined together with a lap width of 100 mm (4"). Properly maintained profile, sufficient lap width and extension on vertical plane as per the requirement ensures arrestment of water for a longer time(around 10 years).

Performance and success of waterproofing systems is highly depending on the application apart from material selection. Giving equal importance to application, FAIRMATE has authorized applicators in and out of India who are trained at regular with on going and newly developed products application.

Frequent interaction with customers and applicators has helped FAIRMATE a lot in giving success to their Waterproofing systems.

To establish confidence in valuable customers, FAIRMATE has given Identity cards, and certificates to applicators.
