Choksey Chemicals P. Ltd has introduced THUNDERPROOF - Instant Leak repairer. Thunder proof is a two component, solvent less, synthetic polymer based compound which dries even in presence of water. It is a quick setting repair product which cures in presence of rain, snow and below freezing temperature to form a tough and abrasion resistant waterproof film. It is easily applicable by brush/trowel and bonds strongly to most of the building materials.

Typical application areas of thunder proof are building roofs, terraces, chimney bases, lift pits, water channels, dams, bridges, gutters, flashings and can be applied to following surfaces: concrete, cement, plaster, steel, asbestos, and glass. The surface area has to be cleaned before applying the product. The two components should be mixed in appropriate ratio to form a homogenous mixture and allowed to mature for 7-10 minutes before the actual application. The coverage area is 15–20 sq.ft/kg max per coat.
