Talleres y Grúas Estación Expands Fleet with Tadano AC 5.250L-2 and AC 7.450-1 Cranes

The investment supports the company’s growing demand for high-capacity lifting solutions across complex projects. Prior to delivery, company representatives visited Tadano’s production facilities in Germany to observe the manufacturing process, highlighting close collaboration between manufacturer and customer.
The cranes were officially handed over in Spain, further strengthening Talleres y Grúas Estación’s fleet with advanced lifting technology designed for reliability, performance and long-term operational efficiency.
Both cranes were ordered in a comprehensive configuration with dual winches and an extensive range of safety and assistance systems. These include the IC-1 Plus crane control system, asymmetric outrigger positioning, and the Surround View camera system, which supports precise crane positioning and increases safety on demanding worksites.
For Talleres y Grúas Estación, the combination of performance and flexibility was a key factor in the purchasing decision. The AC 5.250L-2, with its 79-meter main boom and maximum system length of up to 109 meters, offers outstanding reach for complex lifting tasks. The larger AC 7.450-1 combines the strength of an eight-axle crane with the compact dimensions of a six-axle unit – a significant advantage when operating in environments where space is limited.
“With these cranes we are expanding our capabilities for highly demanding lifting operations,” explain Montenegro and Mosquera. “They provide our operators with advanced technology and offer our customers reliable and efficient solutions, even in complex project environments.”
“Talleres y Grúas Estación has been a valued partner and we are delighted that the company has once again placed its trust in Tadano technology,” says Jenaro Vilanova. “The AC 5.250L-2 and the AC 7.450-1 offer a powerful combination of performance, safety, and efficiency that will support the company in a wide range of lifting applications.”
The first assignment for the AC 5.250L-2 is already planned: the crane will perform a high-precision lift at a refinery, demonstrating its capabilities in a safety-critical industrial environment.
