PM Modi to Inaugurate 594 km Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on April 29

The 594 km-long expressway runs from Bijoli village in Meerut to Judapur Dandu near Prayagraj, providing seamless connectivity between western and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The project is expected to improve travel speed, reduce logistics costs and enhance connectivity across 12 districts, including Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Raebareli and Pratapgarh. It will also link over 500 villages, supporting both rural and urban economic activity.
With the commissioning of the Ganga Expressway, Uttar Pradesh’s share in India’s expressway network is set to rise further, strengthening its position as a leading state in highway infrastructure.
The expressway is expected to boost industrial development, attract investments and generate employment, while also benefiting farmers through faster access to markets and improved supply chains.
Improved connectivity to key destinations such as Prayagraj is also likely to promote religious and cultural tourism, supporting overall regional economic growth.
