NHIDCL invites bids for ₹299-cr road in Meghalaya

The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has invited bids for upgradation of the existing NH-217, Paikan-Tura section of highway in Meghalaya into two-lane with paved shoulder. The project starts from km 20.900 to km 47.075 Package-II. The road project, which is to be built on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model with ADB loan assistance, entails an investment of ₹299.02 crore and requires a completion period of 24 months.
