NHAI & NHIDCL invite bids for ₹2,258-cr NH projects

NHAI has invited bids for the construction of two national highway projects involving combined investment of ₹1,933 crore. One of the two projects includes construction of a 6 lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Highway from junction with NH-19 and Varanasi Ring Road near Rewasa village to junction with Chandauli-Cainpur road in Khainti village under BMP covering Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on HAM model.

The second tender involves construction of six-lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Highway from Chandauli-Chainpur Road junction near Khainti village to junction with Bhabhua-Adhaura Road near Palka village under the same program in Bihar at ₹945.24 crore.

The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has also invited bids for improvement of Daboka-Parokhaowa (Package-1) with a scope of work like widening the stretch to four lane with paved shoulder from 38.500 km to 51.246 km with proposed Daboka Bypass of Daboka-Parokhaowa (Package- 1) of NH-29 in Assam on EPC mode at an estimated cost of ₹325.3 crore.
