NHAI approves three underpasses on Pune-Solapur highway

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the approval of three new underpasses at Uruli Kanchan, Loni, and Theur Phata intersections to separate local vehicle traffic from the highway. Construction is set to begin soon. The towns of Uruli Kanchan, Loni, and Theur Phata have experienced an increase in population density with new real estate projects along the highway. Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari has directed the construction of the underpasses to improve traffic flow and reduce accidents. The NHAI has also installed signals at these intersections on the Pune-Solapur highway, but local police are often required to manage traffic congestion. The underpasses will improve highway traffic and enhance the safety of local citizens by reducing accidents and cutting down on travel time during peak hours.
