MP govt plans 3,600-km long new road network

Madhya Pradesh government is all set to start construction work on the 3,600-km long road network involving an investment of Rs 7,250 crore. The road projects include the construction of eight-lane elevated corridor West Bhopal Bypass as an alternative to VIP Road in Bhopal city at an investment of Rs 3,156 crore. Apart from this, Rs 756 crore funding has been provided for the construction of the Jabalpur-Narsinghpur four-lane road while Rs 840 crore will be spent on the construction of the Narmadapuram-Pipariya four-lane road project.
