road infrastructure and prioritize private investments in road projects
The Karnataka cabinet has taken significant decisions to boost road infrastructure and prioritize private investments in road projects. It has approved the formation of the 'Karnataka State Road Regulatory and Development Authority,' to be chaired by the Chief Minister. The authority will focus on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects under the PWD department, promoting transparency and attracting investments for road connectivity, tourism, and industrial corridors.

Additionally, the cabinet has declared areas surrounding National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries as "Eco-Sensitive Zones" and empowered the Chief Minister to constitute a subcommittee to recommend proposals to the central government on related matters.

Furthermore, administrative approval has been granted for the construction of 'Charaka Super Speciality Hospital' under Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institution in Bengaluru, and an annex building for Nephro Urology at Victoria Hospital campus.
