Indian govt approves ₹1,38,206cr 195 Road Infra Projects
The Union government announces the implementation of 195 road infrastructure projects, with an astounding investment of ₹1,38,206 crores. In the initial phase, 97 projects covering 3,111 km aim to enhance connectivity to 50 prioritized tourist destinations, allocating ₹74,353 crores. Additionally, plans are in motion for 98 projects, spanning 3,727 km, with a budget of ₹63,853 crores, further boosting connectivity to the remaining 50 tourist destinations. The initiative, under the Ministry of Tourism, addresses the need for improved road networks to foster tourism and overall connectivity.
