ADB approves $295-mn for rural road sector in Bihar
Injecting a major funding to road infrastructure in Bihar, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved $295 million to build new roads, widen and upgrade the 265-km of state existing highways including rural roads in Bihar. An agreement to this effect was signed between Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Vumlunmang Vualnam and Takeo Konishi, Country Director for ADB in India.
