Omaxe Hosts 25 Start-up Founders at The Omaxe State to Explore Real Estate and Technology Opportunities

Omaxe Ltd., one of India’s leading real estate developers, recently hosted around 25 start-up founders at The Omaxe State, Dwarka, as part of its effort to engage with emerging businesses and explore how their products, services and technologies can find applications in a large physical destination.

The founders represented businesses across PropTech, AI and automation, sports and e-sports, hospitality, wellness and fitness, co-working and shared spaces, among other areas. The engagement included a walkthrough of The Omaxe State, a presentation by the Omaxe team and discussions on the founders’ businesses, products and potential applications within the project.

The initiative reflects Omaxe’s focus on creating opportunities for start-ups whose businesses are relevant to the future of commercial and consumer spaces. While digital platforms can help businesses reach customers, physical environments can give them an opportunity to demonstrate their products, understand customer behaviour and build direct engagement. Omaxe is exploring how The Omaxe State can provide such opportunities to emerging businesses alongside established commercial formats.

The focus on technology-led businesses is particularly relevant to sports and entertainment. AI is finding applications in areas such as athlete training, performance analysis, fitness and fan engagement, while e-sports is creating new forms of participation and entertainment. As India strengthens its sporting infrastructure ahead of the 2030 Commonwealth Games and pursues its ambition to host the 2036 Olympics, technology-led businesses can also contribute to the development of the wider sporting ecosystem.

Commenting on the engagement, Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe, said, “India’s start-up ecosystem has demonstrated its ability to build businesses around technology and new consumer needs. The next step is to create more opportunities for these businesses to engage with the physical economy, where they can meet customers, test their offerings and grow. Real estate can play a role in that process by providing more than just space. At The Omaxe State, we want to create an environment where relevant start-ups can find customers, partners and opportunities to scale. Our engagement with these founders is exploratory, but it reflects our larger intent to connect entrepreneurship with physical infrastructure and create a platform for businesses that can shape the next generation of consumer experiences.”
