Held for the first time in India, INNOPROM. India 2026 brought together companies, policymakers, technology providers, buyers and suppliers to promote India-Russia trade, industrial cooperation, technology partnerships and investment.
A key highlight of the exhibition was the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the RVNL stall. Saleem Ahmad, CMD, RVNL, welcomed the dignitaries during their visit.
RVNL showcased a model of the Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets, which are being manufactured in collaboration with Russian company Transmashholding (TMH). RVNL and TMH have formed KINET for manufacturing the trainsets, bringing together Indian manufacturing capabilities and Russian technology.
Another major attraction was a model of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) being used for tunnel construction under the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag Rail Link Project in the Himalayan region. RVNL also displayed a model of the New Pamban Railway Sea Bridge, India's first vertical lift railway sea bridge.
The BharatNet project in Uttar Pradesh, being executed by RVNL, was also featured through dedicated displays and a video presentation. The company's flagship projects and capabilities were presented through information panels, brochures, scale
