WPIL Bags ₹425cr Contract for Water Supply Scheme in WB
The Public Health Engineering Department in West Bengal awards a ₹425.35 crore contract to WPIL for Package-I of the surface-based water supply scheme (WSS) in the Northern Sector under Purulia District. The turnkey project is part of the state's initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission and AMRUT-2, aiming to enhance WPIL's global position in the water handling sector. The project is set for completion within 27 months, followed by a three-year operation and maintenance phase. WPIL, with a robust order book, operates globally with manufacturing units and subsidiaries across multiple countries.
