UP's GBC 4.0 Launches 14,000 Projects Worth ₹10 Lakh Cr

Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, UP's Minister for Industrial and Infrastructure Development, revealed that during GBC 4.0, over 55% of the launched projects were valued at ₹1,000 crore or more, with 23% exceeding ₹10,000 crore. Among the projects, 10% fell in the ₹500-1,000 crore range, 20% in the ₹100-500 crore bracket, and the remaining 15% were below ₹100 crore. The total investment for these projects amounts to ₹10 lakh crore, with the UP State Industrial Development Authority leading in attracting investments. Notably, 48% of the projects are spread across Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, and Madhyanchal regions, reflecting the government's strategy to incentivize investments beyond Pashchimanchal. Furthermore, there is a notable investment trend in sectors such as renewable energy, housing, electronics manufacturing, food processing, manufacturing, and education, indicating a diversified portfolio of projects contributing to UP's industrial growth.
