ICEMA released a first-of-its-kind CE Industry Catalogue. The Catalogue was released by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways during the inaugural of ICEMA’s Annual Session held on July 12, 2022. Aiming to build the brand of the Indian CE industry, the catalogue showcases the manufacturing strengths of Indian CE industry for a vast range of hi-tech equipment, apart from, providing comprehensive information and connect to CE industry stakeholders including OEMs, suppliers/vendors and financiers and other players. The catalogue aims to promote Indian CE products in the international markets and help attract investments in Indian CE industry through global suppliers setting up manufacturing base in India. India’s Construction Equipment (CE) industry eco-system is characterised by many players including OEMs, suppliers, bankers; financiers, traders amongst others. While ICEMA has been working towards further developing the robust CE ecosystem in the country, its existing strengths need to be showcased both to the domestic and global players. To achieve these objectives, ICEMA is making concerted efforts to build the Indian CE Industry’s brand, both in India and in global markets. In line with its objective of building the brand of Indian CE industry, ICEMA has released a first-of-its-kind ‘CE Industry Catalogue’ that will be a key resource in positioning the Indian CE industry as a leading global manufacturer and an exporter of a wide range of hi-tech equipment.

The catalogue provides an opportunity to Indian CE ecosystem players including, OEMs, suppliers, financiers to showcase their company as well as product range to potential customers within the country as well as overseas. This showcase of strengths and the depth of supply chain is expected to attract global suppliers to set up manufacturing base in India. A stronger supply chain will not only release the pressures on the Indian CE industry but also support the Government of India’s AatmaNirbhar Bharat Mission.

The catalogue will reach out to key stakeholders including Government, policy makers, key ministries and departments at the Centre & State levels including, MoRTH, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Railways, State Corporations, Infrastructure companies, members of NIP Task Force, RBI, NHAI etc. The catalogue is expected to become a key reference point for top players in CE markets including OEMs, suppliers (Indian & Overseas), component manufacturers, banks & NBFCs. Other key stakeholders include diplomats, bureaucrats, embassies, foreign missions in India, Indian missions abroad, R&D/Academic institutions, affiliated associations amongst others.
