RPP Infra secures multiple contracts worth Rs. 133.48-cr
Expanding its portfolio in the construction and infrastructure sector, RPP Infra Projects has secured multiple contracts and received letters of acceptance (LoAs) for projects worth Rs 133.48 crores. One of the contracts, valued at Rs 80.85 crores, was obtained from RITES, SRPO Bangalore, for the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) Metro Depot at Challaghatta in Karnataka. This contract involves supplying, fabricating, and erecting structural steel works, including roofing for pre-engineered buildings and workshops. Additionally, RPP Infra and Samrat Construction joint venture (JV), RPP-Samrat, has been awarded an LoA from Tamilnadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board, Madurai, for two projects aimed at providing additional water sources under the retrofitting of Ramnad Combined Water Supply Schemes (CWSS). This scheme covers five Municipalities, 11 town Panchayats, and 3,163 rural habitations in Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, and Pudukottai districts, with a construction period of 12 months and operation and maintenance (O&M) for 60 months, at a cost of Rs 29.75 crores. Another order from TWAD, Thanjavur, has been secured for the O&M of the CWSS in three districts of Thiruvarur, including repair and rectification works and the supply of chemicals, with an investment of Rs 22.88 crores.
