Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch development projects worth more than ₹19,100 crore in Bulandshahr, western Uttar Pradesh. The projects include the inauguration of a crucial 173-km-long double-line electrified section on the dedicated freight corridor (DFC) between New Khurja and New Rewari. The new DFC section, with a one-kilometer-long double-line rail tunnel for double-stack container trains, enhances connectivity between the western and eastern freight corridors. Additionally, the prime minister will inaugurate the fourth rail line connecting Mathura-Palwal and Chipiyana Buzurg-Dadri sections, along with multiple road development projects totaling over ₹5,000 crore. The projects aim to improve connectivity and drive economic development in the region, aligning with the vision of integrated planning under PM-GatiShakti.
