PCBL diversifies with Rs 3,800-cr acquisition of Aquapharm Chemicals
Phillips Carbon Black Limited (PCBL), a part of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, ventures into water treatment and oil and gas chemicals through the acquisition of Pune-based Aquapharm Chemicals for Rs 3,800 crore. The move signifies PCBL's strategic expansion into a multi-platform global specialty chemical business. ACPL's expertise in phosphonate products complements PCBL's portfolio, positioning the company for diversified growth across industries. The acquisition is set to conclude in the next two to three months.
