Odisha approves key projects worth Rs 84,918.75-cr across various sectors

The Chief Minister of Odisha has given the green light to 12 major projects with a total investment of Rs 84,918.75 crore. The approved projects span industries like green hydrogen, green ammonia, steel, power, renewable energy, chemicals, petrochemicals, apparel, and textiles. These projects will be located in various districts across the state, including Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh. Notable projects include Welspun Living's integrated textile and logistics facility, Welspun Corp's pipe manufacturing and coating plant, and investments in the green hydrogen and green ammonia sector by Welspun New Energy and Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India.
