L&T wins ₹1,000-cr Data Centres contract in Mumbai
L&T Construction has bagged a major contract to build data centres of capacities worth 10.8 MW in Navi Mumbai involving an investment of about ₹1,000 crore. The scope of work in the contract includes design, construction and allied buildings works including fit outs. The subsidiary has also secured an order for the engineering, procurement and construction of the 'Statue of Oneness' The Statue of Adi Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh from the State Tourism Development Corporation and the 108-feet high bronze statue is scheduled to be completed in 15 months.
