Logistics enterprise Kerala Roadways has appointed Jothi Menon as CEO and Member of the board. "KRS is set to expand its services into the fast-growing express cargo space, and this move signifies its commitment to being an end-to-end logistics player in one of the vital and fast-growing sectors of the Indian economy," said KRS Board Chairman M K Siraj. "As a co-founder of Spoton Logistics, Menon played an instrumental role in Spoton’s growth, fundraising efforts, and successful acquisition by Delhivery in 2022. She brings exceptional credentials to KRS as one of the few women leaders in the Indian logistics sector,” he added.

Established in 1962 by VK Moidoo, KRS has grown over six decades to a network spanning 400 offices servicing over 1000 locations. The company boasts an impressive daily movement of 7,500 tonnes of cargo with a fleet of 1,500 trucks and a dedicated team of over 3,500 employees. The company is currently witnessing a compounded annual growth rate of 15%, with high-profit margins for industry leaders.
