The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) in Karnataka has granted approval for 62 projects with a combined investment of ₹2,088.44 crore. Notably, the committee greenlit Qualcomm's pivotal Research and Development (R&D) unit, valued at ₹175 crore, in Whitefield, Bengaluru, as part of the US-based company's expansion initiative. Qualcomm's investment proposal for the R&D unit, considered a fresh investment in Bengaluru, received clearance from the committee. Earlier this year in August, Qualcomm successfully concluded its largest campus project in the Hyderabad district of Telangana.
