Haryana government has targeted ₹4,800 crore investment in creating modern infrastructure in the Global City, stretching across an area of 1,003-acre in Gurgaon on the Dwarka Expressway. The state CM has held a series of consultations with developers from NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai to help develop the mega city project and will conduct a similar stakeholders’ meet in Dubai shortly. The state government is actively involved in the creation of the world-class city and the first phase will include the creation of road, metro and helipad connectivity. The upcoming city will be near a multi-modal logistic park and a special focus will be on sustainability and environment-friendly measures. The land available will be mixed-use and there will be both commercial and residential developments to follow the walk-to-work concept.
