Gujarat's GIFT city set to grow from 886 acres to over 3,300 acres
The GIFT Urban Development Authority in Gujarat announces plans to expand the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) from 886 acres to over 3,300 acres. The master plan for this expansion is in its final stages and will soon be submitted to the Urban Development Department of the state government. The expansion will include the development of social infrastructure, such as an entertainment, recreational, and retail zone spread over 20.5 acres, featuring attractions like a large ferris wheel (GIFT Eye). The overall goal is to create an integrated metropolis with world-class amenities, aligning with the government's vision to position GIFT City as a global hub for finance, climate financing, and technology services.
