BITS Pilani inks MoU with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya
BITS Pilani has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, India’s first transportation university, to propel collaborative efforts in the field of research and development, teaching, executive education, curriculum development, joint programs, faculty training, entrepreneurship, incubation, as well as joint conferences and workshops. The collaboration aims to leverage the unique strengths and expertise of each institution, fostering a synergistic environment for transformative initiatives. By pooling resources and knowledge, BITS Pilani and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya aspire to push the boundaries of research and education, addressing challenges and opportunities in the dynamic fields of transportation, logistics, supply chain, sustainability, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, sensors, and beyond.
Prof. V Ramgopal Rao, Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani, said, “The need of the hour is to create a dynamic ecosystem that fosters transformative initiatives and gives students and learners enough platforms that encourage them to achieve new heights of excellence."
