Allcargo Gati appoints Uday Sharma as Chief Commercial Officer

Allcargo Gati Limited, an Express Distribution and Supply Chain solution provider, has appointed Uday Sharma as the Chief Commercial Officer of Gati Express and Supply Chain Pvt. Limited (GESCPL), a material subsidiary of the company. In his new role, Uday will be responsible for developing marketing and business strategies to enhance revenue growth. He will lead the formulation of a robust branding strategy for Allcargo Gati. Uday will report to Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gati Express and Supply Chain Pvt. Limited (GESCPL).

With over two decades of cross-functional experience in areas such as business development, organizational turnaround, franchise development, strategic planning, large enterprise value selling, and complex deal management, Uday joins Allcargo Gati from Delhivery, where he served as the Head of Sales. His previous experience includes roles at Spoton Logistics, Safexpress, Aramex, and Elbee India.

Expressing his views on the appointment, Sharma stated, "Express logistics demand is expected to grow at a rapid pace driven by consumer demand uptick and the continued progress of the digital economy.
