Adani JV & Global Architects takes on Dharavi Redevelopment Project
Adani Group's joint venture (JV) with the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) in Mumbai has partnered with renowned architect Hafeez Contractor, US-based design firm Sasaki, and UK consultancy firm Buro Happold for the redevelopment of Dharavi, one of Asia's largest slums. The global team aims to contribute to the Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRPPL), covering 625 acres, and approved by the Maharashtra government as the world's largest urban renewal scheme, with Adani's USD 619 million bid accepted in July 2023.
