Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Eicher Trucks & Buses Sign MoU to Accelerate Fleet Modernization in Delhi-NCR

The scheme is designed to facilitate the phased replacement of BS-IV and earlier emission norm trucks and buses operating in Delhi-NCR through a comprehensive package of incentives offered by the Central Government, participating State Governments and OEMs. Under the MoU, Eicher Trucks & Buses will extend benefits to eligible customers, including an 8% discount on the ex-showroom price of eligible vehicles purchased under the scheme.
The initiative will allow Eicher Trucks and Buses customers to modernize their fleets, replacing older vehicles with cleaner and more fuel-efficient solutions. Eligible beneficiaries will also be able to avail additional incentives under the scheme, including support on motor vehicle tax, registration fees, interest subvention and fuel benefits, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria.
