BSF Mobile Cranes Expands Fleet with Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 and MK 88-4.1E Cranes
The 450-tonne Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 will enhance the company's heavy-lift capacity, enabling it to undertake projects requiring higher lifting capacities and greater reach. BSF said the investment builds on its existing LTM 1350-6.1 fleet, offering a similar footprint with significantly improved lifting performance.
The company selected the LTM 1400-6.1 for its versatile boom configurations, single-engine design, reduced setup time for the Y-guying system, and advanced technologies such as VarioBallast® and VarioBase®, which improve efficiency and enable operations on confined urban construction sites.
BSF has also added the Liebherr MK 88-4.1E mobile construction crane, expanding its ability to work efficiently on space-constrained construction sites while improving fleet flexibility.
MK 88-4.1E: Efficient solutions for urban construction sites
The addition of the new MK 88-4.1E marks the introduction of the first mobile construction crane of its type in Australia and allows BSF Mobile Cranes to further expand its range of services. “We always want to offer our customers the best solutions and are seeing increasing demand for lifting solutions on space-constrained construction sites,” reports Stoeckert.
The MK 88-4.1E impressed with its exceptional versatility, rapid deployment capability and ability to work efficiently even in confined conditions. Compact transport dimensions, variable operating modes and strong lifting performance were key criteria in the selection of this model. “The MK 88-4.1E adds a unique solution to our portfolio between conventional mobile cranes and stationary tower cranes,” explains Stoeckert.
