AmpereHour Energy Partners Organo Eco Habitats for India’s First Residential Battery Energy Storage System Community

The project aims to set a new benchmark in sustainable living by enabling efficient energy storage and reducing dependence on conventional power systems. Organo Antharam is designed around a “rurban” concept, blending rural sustainability with modern living.
The collaboration supports Organo’s vision of creating a net-zero energy community, with AmpereHour Energy providing advanced storage solutions that integrate sustainability into everyday residential infrastructure.
The Organo Antharam community now uses a sophisticated 500KVA/608kWh energy storage installation that powers the entire ecosystem. The system flawlessly orchestrates energy from solar PV, the grid, and battery storage, ensuring the community remains resilient, self-sufficient, and eco-friendly.
With the integration of BESS by AmpereHour Energy, residents now experience seamless, high-quality power without noise, pollution, or interruptions, creating a more comfortable and environmentally responsible lifestyle.
This project sets a new benchmark in sustainable living. At its core is an intelligent energy system that acts like a central “brain,” seamlessly balancing solar power, grid electricity, and battery storage to ensure optimal performance. This approach significantly reduces dependence on fossil fuels and eliminates the need for diesel generators, making it a much cleaner energy solution. As a result, residents benefit from consistent, uninterrupted power, enabling a smooth and reliable living experience across the entire community.
Ayush Misra, Co-Founder & CEO of AmpereHour Energy, said, “The project sets a national benchmark.” He added that "The system is not just a backup solution, but a complete energy strategy that redefines how residential communities can achieve clean and reliable power.”
Rakesh Koti, Head of Sustainability & Business Development, Organo, says, “At Organo, sustainability is approached as a systems decision, from land and water to energy and built form. Energy was one of the most critical levers in making our communities truly sustainable, and AmpereHour Energy has helped us build the infrastructure to support that transition with greater reliability and long-term efficiency.”
