Fine Equipments Launches Mobile Cranes, Motor Graders, Mini Excavators & Compaction Equipment

The company’s new 15- and 18-ton mobile cranes come with more safety features, and advancements in the cab, including a new design. Neeraj Gaur, Director, elaborating on the 18-ton crane’s features said, “The upgraded 18-ton crane has 12.20 tyres (unlike the generally used 11.00 tyres); tyre guards to prevent accidents; and outriggers for additional safety of the operator. In fact, operator comfort has been given top priority. There is a DX seat with a headrest, an easy-shift gear system (similar to a car gear lever) for smoother operation even under load, and a parametric clutch, which is very easy to operate and works effectively even with very light pressure.”
“The crane’s maximum working height goes up to 62 feet, which is among the best in its segment. Its four-wheel drive allows it to operate efficiently on both paved and unpaved surfaces while carrying loads, it is well-balanced, and has a road speed of 40 km/h and above. We have used the high standard Volvo engine and axles, and have fitted it with a heavy-duty 3-ton winch.”
He informed that to cater to the emerging demand for higher capacity cranes, the company is considering developing 23- and 25-ton mobile cranes, which will be both for corporate customers and rental agencies. It will also be focusing on other models of mini excavators and will explore some truck-mounted crane models.
Fine Equipments’ two new motor grader variants—the FMG 985 HD and the FMG 585 HD are designed to cater to different segments of the market. The FMG 985 HD, positioned in the 14–15.6-ton class, is designed for demanding applications such as mining and large road projects. It is powered by a Cummins engine and equipped with a ZF 6WG 160 fully automatic transmission, ensuring efficient power delivery and smooth operation. The machine incorporates advanced features to enhance operator efficiency and safety, including steering and brake accumulators, a modern cabin, and pilot-operated controls that improve visibility and ease of handling.
The FMG 585 HD, a 9-ton motor grader, is targeted at smaller road projects and general construction applications. It features a tandem axle configuration that delivers strong rolling and cutting forces. The machine is powered by a Leyland engine and fitted with NAF German axles and an ATC transmission. Designed with operator comfort in mind, it offers pilot lever operation and high visibility, along with advanced features such as articulation, drawbar, and turn circle, capabilities not commonly found in most graders within the 9–10-ton category.
In the compaction segment, Fine Equipments introduced the FIV 6500 walk-behind roller, a fully hydraulic machine developed for compact and confined work areas. Powered by a 7.5 kW Kohler diesel engine, the roller consumes approximately one litre of fuel per hour. It features a PWG hydraulic system imported from Italy and a double-drum configuration with a drum width of 650 mm. With a compaction capacity of up to 2.5 tons under vibration, the machine is easy to transport, handle, and operate. Operator controls, including forward-reverse movement, vibration mode, LED lighting for night work, and an emergency stop, are ergonomically positioned for ease of use.

Fine Equipments also offers a range of indigenously developed mini excavators ranging between 2-ton to 3.8-tons. The mini excavator FM 38, a 3.8-ton class machine is designed for stability, comfort, and extended operating hours. The excavator is equipped with an air-conditioned cabin featuring ROPS and FOPS for enhanced safety. Powered by a Kubota engine, it offers a track shoe width of 350 mm, providing excellent stability during operation. With a bucket capacity of 0.2 cubic metres, it ranks among the highest in its segment in the Indian market. Fine Equipments also showcased the newly launched FM 38 HD export variant, powered by a Yanmar engine and equipped with a 0.11 cubic metre bucket, along with pre-installed breaker and attachment pipeline kits.
Another highlight was the FM 20 mini excavator, a compact machine developed for precision work in confined spaces. Powered by a 19 HP Kubota engine, the FM 20 features a bucket capacity of 0.07 cubic metres—the highest in its size category. The machine offers an adjustable track width, with an overall width of 1,300 mm that can be reduced to 990 mm for narrow access areas. Its zero tail swing design allows safe and efficient operation without concern for rear overhang, making it suitable for applications such as cable laying, pipeline work, municipal projects, and urban construction sites.
Said Gaur, “Our 2-ton FM 20 and 3.8-ton FM 38 have a powerful hydraulic system, a pre-fitted pipeline adaptation kit to fit attachments like rock breakers, augers, and grapplers. They come with a canopy, and a spacious air-conditioned cabin with attractive interiors. They are designed to work easily in Indian jobsite conditions across varied construction projects, and are easy to maintain.”
“Our mini excavators enjoy a strong brand recall. They are simple to operate, easy to maintain, have a low operating cost, precise control, and operator comfort – reasons why they continue to outperform competing machines,” he added. Fine Equipments renders support to their machines through its 35+ dealers for higher availability.
Gaur is confident that with the company’s expanded portfolio of products and upgrades, the company will perform even better in 2026. “A significant amount of work is being done in electronically controlled machines, remote operations, and in the transition towards battery-driven and electric power systems. Improving fuel efficiency and enhancing safety for operators and the workforce are also key areas which require continuous R&D. At Fine Equipments, we are looking at the potential scope of all these developments and are already working on some,” revealed Gaur.
