VMT focuses on Engineering, Improvisation & Customization

As a leading player in the field of heavy-duty modular trailers and special purpose trailers, New Delhi-based Vishkarma Machine Tools (VMT) is serving the Transport industry with its wide range of products for the past four decades. The company is committed to developing cost-effective solutions for transporting heavier over-dimensional cargoes (ODC) safely, and so far, it has supplied around 4000 Hydraulic Axle Modular Trailers and over 200 Extendable Trailers to highly satisfied customers.
VMT manufactures hydraulic axles modular trailers of 2 to 6 axle lines, with gross weight of the trailers ranging from 36 tons to 108 tons, and with payload carrying capacities between 28-84 tons. Its trailers are made of special alloys, which reduce the weight of the trailers such that the prime mover needs lesser traction, which in turn, reduces fuel consumption. The trailers are equipped with advanced suspension systems ensuring smooth motion even in rough terrain surfaces. All the critical hydraulic components are sourced from globally reputed manufacturers from Germany and France, and the brake components are from TVS Knorr. The advanced features and components make hauling of heavier loads smooth and safe.

Leveraging on its decades of expertise, VMT has not only developed a core competency in designing and fabrication of trailers for specific applications, but it also offers the best support services within stipulated timeframes to its clients. Keeping customization as its focal point, the company does constant engineering improvisations in its product line for meeting customer requirements.

He adds, “For safe movement of the cargo, we always insist that our customers should secure the project cargo drawing from the consignee, so as to appropriately calculate the center of gravity, and thereby, prevent any accidents.”

VMT will keep on enhancing its product lines with more advanced engineering value, besides developing newer products for emerging sectors and extending their customer services accordingly.
