Hyundai Launches 3 New Special Attachments
Hyundai is expanding it’s Special Attachment portfolio by adding 3 new Attachments - Quick Coupler, Clamshell and Orange Grapple. Complete with innovative design and material, these power-packed attachments provides strong grip and maximum reach, informs Rajiv Chaturvedi, Vice President - Sales & Mktg, After Service & Parts, Hyundai Construction Equipment India.

With the construction market and infra development projects growing, labor availability and the pressure of meeting project completion deadlines are major challenges for customers. To meet our customers’ needs and in line with our objective of ‘Innovation With Sustainable Growth’ Hyundai has added a range of 3 new special attachments: Quick Coupler, Clamshell, and Orange Grapple.
These attachments, along with our vast range of Buckets, Rock Breakers, Super Long Fronts, Drills etc, will help support a variety of applications.
The recently announced National Monetization Pipeline (NMP) - an asset monetization mechanism of the central public sector, through which the government expects to generate ₹6 lakh crore during 2021-2024, will further increase government’s expenditure on infrastructure development. Quick Coupler- HQC220
Quick Coupler is the second most popular attachment after the rock breaker in India. It allows the operator to change attachments from within the cabin, within a minute. Clamshell is extremely popular for material handling applications for coal, iron ore, clinker, limestone, fertilizers etc. It is made from a combination of Hardox Steel plates and heavy-duty cylinders and has a rugged design. Orange grapple is popular in India especially for scrap handling in various industries. It has a heavy duty- 5 tins design, and is made of Hardox plates and cylinders for a longer life.
