Mr. R. Nandagopal,

He said that TIL is launching some new products at the event relevant to the industry and on display will be-Crushing & Screening solutions like Hydraulic Jaw/ Cone Crusher, High Frequency screen, Stationary/Portable/Mobile Plants, Eco-friendly Asphalt Mix Double Barrel technology from ASTEC, Hyster-TIL Reachstacker and Forklift Trucks as well as Truck Mounted and Rough Terrain crane.
Sharing his views about the Excon forum he said, it is one of the most significant shows dedicated to the construction industry, drawing a huge footfall from construction segment customers. It is the appropriate launch pad to create awareness of our portfolio and capabilities. In the absence of such a single forum, we will really need to reach out to such a large base of customers through various other means which may turn out to be more costly in the long run. The scope of interacting with captive audience/customers is more than any other media options and hence provides better chance to get better ROI.
Reiterating he stated, Excon provides an ideal forum for products launch as customers can actually have 'on the ground' experience of the products. Another important reason for participation is that it is a good platform to understand the latest developments in the industry as well as an opportune forum to understand the supply base, interact with foreign players – both for sourcing and partnerships.
Talking about the company and its different verticals, he said, TIL operates through its Material Handling Solutions division, Equipment & Project Solutions division and the wholly owned subsidiary - Tractors India Pvt. Ltd. (TIPL) for North and East of India and Bhutan, as well as overseas subsidiaries in Nepal and Singapore. TIL is headquartered in Kolkata with a well connected network, across the country.

The newly formed Equipment & Project Solutions (EPS) vertical focuses on providing 'single-window' solutions in crushing & screening, and offering innovative and eco-friendly asphalt mix technology for road construction. The EPS vertical also manufactures and supplies container handling equipment for Ports.
Informing about the company's various JVs he said that manufacturing and technical collaborations are with Manitowoc Crane Group, USA, Grove Worldwide USA, Potain [a part of Manitowoc – USA], Astec Inc., Hyster [a part of NMHG – USA], Paceco Corp – USA [a part of Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding - Japan], FAMAK S.A – Poland and Mitsui Miike Machinery Co.
