Teupen Presents LEO 40 GTX Crawler-Mounted Aerial Access Platforms
Compact build, low ground pressure, basket capacity up to 400 kgs, flexible outrigging, and easy to use inside and outside: these are the biggest advantages of the crawler-mounted access platform Model LEO 40 GTX from Teupen GmbH, Germany. The compact construction and top specification enable a simple and safe operation everywhere in all situations. By using the special “overplates” on the outrigger feet to reduce ground pressure, it is even possible to work on sensitive surfaces with this machine without causing any damage.
More height applications can be fulfilled by using this machine. One of the main reasons enabling this is the lower boom which can telescope up to 23,5m. The upper arm then comes into play with an outreach of 16m., with 200 kg basket capacity and still out to 13m even with 400 kg basket loading. With this “up-and-over” configuration all kinds of overhangs, shaped lower facades and other obstacles can be overcome. Difficult spots can be reached either by telescoping upwards as normal, or downwards, as this boom can telescope below 90°, thus saving time. The result: less time needed to do required work, thereby reducing costs. The compact build and flexibility of the machine enable work inside and outside to be reached and fulfilled more quickly.
In keeping with the whole LERO series, the LEO 40 GTX also creates only low ground pressures. This is particularly noteworthy for indoor applications. Further, due to the height/width adjustable crawlers, automatic outrigger positioning in various positions and radio remote control, one can work safely and efficiently up to 39,5m working height with 200 kgs basket capacity, or 36,5m with 400 kgs basket loading.
