Terex unveils new Crane and Lift (AWP) models
Terex Cranes' new 10-ton (11-U.S.-ton) class Terex® CTT 202-10 flat top tower crane delivers increased jobsite versatility, and offers three chassis options, budget to performance, with 3.8-m (12.5-ft), 4.5-m (14.8-ft) and 6-m (19.7-ft) base selections. It can be configured with H20, TS21 and TS16 masts, offering from 1.6- to 2.1-m (5.2- to 6.9-ft) widths, so customers can efficiently manage component inventory while cost-effectively meeting tower height needs.
Customers also got a preview of the new Genie® Z®-45 FE hybrid articulating boom lift Designed using the same hybrid technology as its higher lifting Genie Z-60 FE (formerly Z-60/37 FE) sister model, the new Genie Z-45 FE boom lift offers a maximum working height of 15.92 m (51 ft 8 in) a maximum horizontal outreach of 6.94 m (22 ft 9 in), a maximum up-and-over reach of 7.50 m (24 ft 7 in) and a market-leading 300 kg (660 lb) maximum lift capacity in the 16 m (52 ft) hybrid boom lift class. As a result of its highly versatile, low emissions, energy-saving and low maintenance 4WD operation, this new machine combines the benefits of high rental returns on invested capital (rROIC) with the ability to work in virtually any jobsite environment, indoors and outdoors.
Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) division showcased the new Genie® GS™-4655 scissor lift. The latest addition to the brand's large electric slab scissor lift family, this new eco-friendly machine comes in a compact, lightweight package and combines maximized productivity with increased battery runtime and reduced service costs. Equipped with the latest generation of fully sealed AC electric drive motors for excellent 'green' efficiency, it is also suitable to meet the demands of indoor and outdoor access tasks. This new model will be available globally in Q3 2019. Providing a maximum indoor working height of 16.02 m (52 ft), maximum outdoor working height of 10.70 m (34 ft 6 in), a class-leading horizontal outreach of 1.22 m (4 ft) with fully rolled-out deck extension, as well as 25% gradeability and 14° breakover angle to climb steep ramps and make transport easier, the new Genie GS-4655 scissor lift offers a 350 kg (770 lb) lift capacity for up to three people and their tools and materials.
Also displayed was Terex® RT 90 rough terrain model which offers a five section, fully hydraulic boom that extends to 47 m. A 17 m bi-fold jib further enhances the reach and versatility of the crane. Designed for easy operation, Terex RT 90 features a control system with integrated diagnostics, a new ergonomic cab design with an 18-degree tilt, and easy to access flat deck for safety, superior usability and comfort.
