The magnanimous increase in urban and rural population has raised the need of building highrises. But, the conundrum stays that even with population increase there is a permanent deficit of labourers and work force. Highrise building needs a large workforce for moving bricks, cement, tiles, steel and other gamut of building materials to every floor. Workforce unavailability heavily affects project timelines, and hence Safari Construction Equipment which manufactures wide range of innovative and quality product such as JK Tough Rider, Mini Batching Plants, Reversible Drum Mixers, etc. has conceptualized, designed and manufactured ‘JK Mini Crane,' which is used for highrise and infrastructure construction projects.

JK Mini Crane

J K Mini Crane

JK Mini Crane is used to lift material to every floor. Four models of this crane are available with lifting capacities of 150kg, 300kg, 500kg & 1 ton. The Crane's unique design makes it very safe to use whereas a smart counter weight system, which only needs to be simply filled with sand makes itself balanced and well grounded.

A minimum boom length of 2 meter ensures that the bucket does not hit any of the cantilever structures of the building and hence is very safe. The maximum boom length upto 4 meter can be available.

The crane has auto mechanical brakes that stop its operation on power and/or on any drive failure. The 360 degree movement of the boom of the mini crane is controlled by an automatic locking system, so that when the mini crane is in operation, boom cannot be rotated or moved by accident.

Applications & Testimony

JK Mini Crane's utility is not limited to high- rises, but has varied applications. The companies such as Gannon Dunkerely & Co. Ltd is currently using it at their SEPCO Power Plant Project, Korba, Chhattisgarh whereas L&T deployed it for their ongoing residential project at Adani House, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd used the crane in their project of strengthening over 100 years old Walwan and Shirwata Dams, near Pune, Maharashtra while Jaypee group is currently using it at their construction site of Bina Thermal Power Plant at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Appreciating the performance of Safari products, Brigadier IPS Soin, Sr. General Manager at Jaypee Thermal Power Plant said, "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Safari for its excellent responsiveness in supplying their products which are reliable and cost-effective. Apart from quality equipment, the company is also providing prompt and professional support services which are so refreshing to receive."
