RUTHMANN
The German aerial-platform manufacturer RUTHMANN participated in bauma 2010 chalked up more in sales than at any other trade show before. A total of 30 vehicles worth 4.5 million Euros were ordered. The brand new STEIGER® TB 270 and TBR 200, which made their world debut at bauma, accounted for two third of those orders. The intensive follow-up business after the trade show verifies just how successful this world-class event really was.
Industry experts, mostly from German-speaking countries, were exceedingly decisive and RUTHMANN was well-prepared for the level of excitement that these brand-new models generated. The much-proclaimed STEIGER® TB 270 with its 27-metre working height, is the aerial platform with the best performance data in the 3.5 t chassis category. The nine TB 270 models on display made their world debut at the RUTHMANN stand which was double the size compared to 2007. RUTHMANN also surprised a lot of trade-show visitors when, just prior to the event, it announced that it would be using this occasion to introduce its brand new TBR 200. A new version of the STEIGER® T 470 nicely rounded off RUTHMANN's presentation at bauma.
With the new "orange outfit", comprehensive service range and entertainment program, RUTHMANN not only lives up to its new company slogan "professionals at work" but also satisfies market needs most effectively. RUTHMANN's success story is continuing where it left off in 2009 and the German manufacturer is well positioned to handle the current turnaround in the export business.
