Rental Company Deshmukh Crane Adds Third unit of JCB Loadall to Fleet
JCB Loadall is a multi-purpose equipment with the capability to serve various requirements at construction sites. It minimizes idle time of the machine to give high ROI to the buyer.
Impressed with the performance of its two units of JCB Loadalls, Pune-based crane renting company Deshmukh Crane Service Pvt Ltd., has added a third JCB Loadall to its fleet. The company, which started by renting out cranes to the industrial sector in Chakan, is now providing services across the country with its wide range of cranes of 10-ton to 100-ton capacities, besides road rollers, telehandlers, boom lifts, and reinforcement steel processing machines to end-users engaged in construction activities in residences, automobile sector, solar projects, FMCG companies and chemical plants.
Says Mr. Shamrao Deshmukh, Founder & Managing Director, “India is seeing rapid infra development. Many manufacturing units and constructional projects are coming up, which require material handling equipment for their set-up and during production. The equipment makes distribution convenient and saves time, while ensuring the safety of the products, as in the warehouse and logistics industry.”
In his view, demand for such machines is set to escalate, given the increase in construction of residential and commercial projects, and the prospect of smart city development.
Deshmukh Crane has deployed JCB Loadalls for use in different industries such as construction site with a general-purpose shovel attachment for shifting sand, loose cement, tiles, and crushed stone upto three floors. In factory construction project, the machine is deployed with man-lift attachment to work at a height of upto 11 meters. The Loadalls have also been deployed in chemical and fertilizer plants, solar projects and FMCG companies, along with a forklift attachment for stuffing/de-stuffing material in containers.
Says company’s Director, Mr. Akshay Deshmukh, “The JCB Loadall, is much like a Swiss knife, a combination of many machines. It is an all-terrain, multi-utility machine, with many attachments like a man-lift basket, general purpose shovel, standard forks with crane hook, etc, and its compact size makes it suitable for working in congested spaces.”
He adds, “Since it can serve various requirements at sites, its idling time is minimal. This increases the overall turnover of the company and gives higher ROI on the machines. We have even deployed the Loadalls in remote areas of Madurai, which is 1200 km from our workplace, and despite the distance, JCB provided us immediate service and support.”
The prompt service is due to the Livelink Telematics in the Loadalls that provide customers real-time information on the location of the machine, service due, operations and security, via smartphones, mobile devices and SMS alerts. Another important factor for the rental company is the in-built safety features in the Loadall, such as ROPS/FOPS cabin, Load Moment indicator with alarm, Hose Burst Check Valves, Stabilizers, 4-Wheeled Drive for better traction, robust structure that ensures strength in high-stress areas, and falling-over protection system.
Deshmukh Crane Service has diversified into automated reinforcement steel processing services, and will be adding a 17-meter JCB Loadall to its product range, along with man-lifts, cranes of higher capacities, and other construction equipment, as it aims to become a complete construction equipment rental company.
