Alpha introduced Mobile Tower Cranes

For the past 35 years, Alpha has been developing new solutions and evolving its product portfolio, which presently includes EOT Cranes, Goliath Cranes, Transfer Trolleys, Mobile Tower Cranes, Flat Top Tower cranes and Mobile Communication Towers. The company’s manufacturing facilities and products are CE and ISO 9001-2008 certified.

Alpha introduced Mobile Tower Cranes to the Indian market in 1988 with Model SP-453. Today, its range of Mobile Tower Cranes has a market share of over 50% with sales volumes of 80-100 units in a year. The company later developed a range of Flat Top cranes in technical collaboration with SOIMA of Portugal. While its active manufacturing range has 4 models in the max capacity range of 5Ton to 10Ton, it can also manufacture cranes up to 20T capacity.

In a market where most manufacturers offer pendent line Tower cranes (Hammerhead cranes), Alpha has a distinct positioning with the Flat Top Tower cranes, which have many more advantages than the Hammerhead cranes; they are safer and easier to erect due to their modular design. Also, at a site where multiple tower cranes need to be deployed, the flat top tower cranes do not require to be erected as high as the tower cranes with tower caps because the interference between the jibs is less.

The features of Alpha Fixed Tower Cranes are the most distinctive in its class, with a high level of performance that enables trouble-free site report and productivity. Alpha Tower Cranes are with male-female combo of mast to mast connect with pins that facilitate faster installation. The structures are of high-grade tensile steel for best outcome and longevity. The cranes are manufactured with modern technology and designing to meet the growing demand for bigger, heavier and more sophisticated tower cranes where lifting capacity ranges between 1.25 tons up to 10 tons, and jibs from 45 to 60m; however, our principle supplies up to 80 m jib and 20 ton capacity. Maximum heights are as per customer request.

To further enhance the quality and performance of its equipment, they are incorporated with world-class European mechatronics. There are VVVF drives for all three operations as standard, to ensure smooth and jerk-free movement. Alpha also use sealed slew-gear with automated greasing system to avoid periodical greasing. The cranes are fitted with an air-conditioned operator cabin as standard and the power consumption of the crane is the least in its class. The equipment is supplied with the option of fixed/base frame/travelling.

Alpha strength lies in its competitive designs and manufacturing capabilities, including fabrication, welding, painting and testing at its two facilities in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The company has a pan-India dealer network for ensuring sales, service and spares.
