Alpha's Biggest Self Erecting Mobile Tower Crane
Alpha continues its leadership in mobile tower crane segment with its SG 24X30 self erecting mobile tower crane in technical collaboration with SOIMA of Portugal which delivers solutions for challenges on construction sites. It is the biggest non-hydraulic crane in the country with Jib of 30m and tip load of 800 kg; maximum HUH – 39m (luffing position); and maximum load of 2000 kg at 14m horizontal reach.
SG 24x30 is fitted with Balloon Tyres and can be easily towed within the jobsite. Its robust structure is made of high tensile steel with extra broad face plates (of angle steel) to provide extra strength and stability.
This crane can be adjusted to variable hook heights according to the site situations. All these movements are VVVF drive controlled for smooth, jerk-free operation, powered by 3 Ph/400V/50-60 Hz power supply.
The equipment is operated via Remote Control Pod to help the operator position himself as per the jobsite for focus on picking and dumping points without any obstruction.
The crane’s applications include concreting of columns and slabs, lifting materials like bricks/blocks, sand, steel reinforcement, shuttering, wooden planks, and items like vibrators, small gensets etc. It is widely used in Industrial Projects, Power Plants, Buildings, Institutions, and in Infrastructure projects like Bridges, Flyovers, ROBs, etc.
In real estate projects, SG 24x30 is being used by Builders, Contractors, and Developers for low and medium-rise constructions and in projects which are spread over large areas.
