Powerscreen India Serves Oman

Powerscreen, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing, screening and washing equipment, has announced that its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Hosur, Southern Bangalore, has expanded distribution in India and also across emerging world markets.

In one recent example, Arabian Transport for Heavy Equipment purchased a Powerscreen® Chieftain 2100X Screening plant from General Engineering Services Est which was manufactured at the Powerscreen Hosur facility. The Chieftain 2100X is working in combination with the Powerscreen® 4242SR already owned by Arabian and is producing aggregates of 0-5 mm, 5-10 mm, 10-20 mm and 20-40 mm for a commercial construction company who have been awarded a massive road construct project in the Sultanate of Oman. “We were in need of a screening plant which could achieve our desired output and cater to the demand of our clients and what better brand can be thought of other than Powerscreen” said Mr. Awadh Shanfari, Chairman for Arabian Transport for Heavy Equipments.

General Engineering Services Est, the Powerscreen Dealer in Oman, entered into the market with mobile crushing and screening plants and soon found its sales figures going up. The dealership sold more than 50 crushers and screens in four years.
